Job description

Job Description

TSA are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work within the Bristol area, as part of a wider team, for the internal function of a building services consultancy.

Due to a large growth in our client’s mechanical engineering team’s portfolio, they are looking to recruit an individual to assist in the delivery of mechanical engineering design for building services projects, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and domestic water systems, with their current workload spread across a range of industries and environments, both in the public and private sector.

The successful individual will have strong technical skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g. IES, Revit, AutoCAD) and will be responsible for delivering day-to-day mechanical engineering design on live projects, from feasibility through to detailed design and construction. You will produce calculations, coordinate mechanical systems with other disciplines and develop technical drawings and specifications that meet project requirements.

We are looking for candidates who are degree qualified either within the building services sector or mechanically, ideally working towards professional registration (CIBSE or IMechE), with a good understanding of UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guides, and industry standards. This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone who enjoys working in detail and wants to grow within a supportive and technically driven team.

If you’re interested, please apply ASAP as we are currently shortlisting for the role.
