Job summary

TechMet Ltd. in Newtownards is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own the design of bespoke machinery for FMCG customers.

You will develop new products, create and modify detailed drawings, and use CAD software to design components and systems on site. You will measure specifications with customers on site, ensure designs are manufacturable, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Mechanical Design Engineer - Ards

Client operates in the FMCG sector and is responsible for "cradle to grave" bespoke projects for clients across the food sector inc Dairy, bakery, meat, and varoius FMCG sectors. This will suit a Design Engineer who wants to have full autonomy and project design.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Newtownards. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing new products, creating and modifying drawings, and using CAD software to design components and systems. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with other engineers and project manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
