You will learn to turn requirements into engineering solutions, support through‑life management of critical systems, and work with experienced engineers on real projects that underpin the UK’s safety.

The program lasts four years with degree study, placements and practical work, starting 1st September 2027, with on-site learning and strong developmental

Qualifications

• Interest in how mechanical things work.
• Ability to look at information carefully and spot patterns.
• Confidence using maths as part of problem solving.
• Logical approach to solving problems step by step.
• Interest in engineering, design or practical technical subjects.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer and business requirements into engineering solutions.
• Write clear engineering documents and support projects to meet timescales.
• Build confidence and technical knowledge through mentoring and training.
• Work with people from different technical teams on projects.
