Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a mechanical design role, ideally within industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical design concepts for special purpose machinery, robotic automation, and assembly systems.
  • Deliver cost-effective, high-quality design solutions that meet client specifications and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project managers, and production staff.
  • Source components and build relationships with suppliers to meet custom design requirements.
  • Produce detailed documentation including BOMs and design reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
