Job summary

White Label Recruitment Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Design Engineer (Mechanical) to prepare technical drawings and renderings for manufacturing. You will develop designs from calculations to 3D modelling, perform FEA, submit documentation, and provide installation support while coordinating with clients and site teams.

Required are 2+ years as a Design Engineer and 5–10 years in design engineering, with proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor

Qualifications

Min 2 years’ experience as a Design Engineer
Approximately 5-10 years Design Engineering experience
Experience in using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD packages such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidEdge, etc.
Experience designing conveyor systems, special purpose machinery, steel fabrication or sheet metal design

Responsibilities

Prepare technical drawings and renderings for manufacturing.
Design through all stages from calculations to 3D modelling, FEA, formal submission and installation.
Liaise directly with clients and support design personnel on requirements.
Create general arrangement drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings.
Provide lifecycle support from concept through to installation and service.
Develop prototypes of new products based on customer requirements
