My client is a well-established engineering company that specialises in producing innovative machinery and engineering solutions for the aerospace, automotive and power generation industry sectors. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your focus will be managing design projects from initial concept to delivery, 3D modelling and producing detailed technical designs using Solidworks.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities;

• Manage design projects from initial concept to delivery
• Liaise with customers, understand their requirements and propose engineering solutions
• Produce detailed engineering designs using Solidworks
• Provide technical support to clients and the wider engineering team
• Be cross functional and support the areas of engineering when required
• Managing project deadlines and ensuring that all parties are updated

Mechanical Design Engineer Experience;

• Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of safety engineering standards and industry standards is essential
• Experienced using Solidworks software is a must
• Experienced in managing design projects from initial concept to delivery
• Must be a team player

This role as a Mechanical Design Engineer is based in Worcester and commutable from Kidderminster, Malvern, Droitwich, Redditch, Bromsgrove and Hereford.
