Mechanical Design Engineer – Kingswinford, West Midlands – Salary range £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

We're seeking a talented Design Engineer with a flair for invention to join our team at Stiltz Homelifts. If you thrive on challenges, enjoy turning ideas into reality, and are driven to create exceptional products, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll do:

  • 3D product and component design using SolidWorks.
  • Producing 2D drawings of components and assemblies to BS8888 convention.
  • Support prototype build and testing.
  • Provide engineering information to enable designs to be transferred to production in the form of CAD models, drawings, samples, specifications and Excel based BOMs.
  • Cost-down modifications to existing products.
  • Provide assistance and support to overcome product-related problems that arise in the field.
