MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Location: Walsall

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours)

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading manufacturing business that supplies solutions to various industries. You will need experience working within a design office and designing in 2D and 3D.

Role Description

• Provide CAD drawings / 3D models using 3D software
• Maintain and develop standard CAD drawings and drawing registers
• Work from process datasheets and previous projects to develop detail drawings
• Maintain appropriate electronic and hard copy records for quality assurance and contract execution
• Provide CAD drawings in support of sales bids

Skills & Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of continuous experience with a 3D design package such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within mechanical design
• Mechanical Engineering qualification
