Job description

My client is a world leader in its field designing and manufacturing equipment for the aeronautical and process industry sectors. As a result of a record order book, they are looking to expand their design department. They are looking for a mechanical design engineer to assist the team as they launch a new range of products.

Duties will include:

1. Undertaking a range of calculations covering FEA.
2. Design of components.
3. Selection of motors.
4. Delivering thermal calculations with reference to heat transfer aspects.

Candidates should have experience of AutoCAD and Solidworks and likely be qualified to HND level in mechanical engineering. Some international travel may be required during the commissioning stage of the equipment.
