Job description

Company:

• A reputable Leeds based D&B M&E contractor (T/O c 10m) with a long trading history, providing Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Design, and Installation Service to the Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Private, and Public sectors.
• Clients include Rolls Royce, Ministry of Defence, HSBC, Dupont, Carlsberg, and many other blue-chip companies as well as the public sector.
• Typical projects range in value between 550k and 4m (M&E value).

The Role:

• Strongly focused design involvement including schedules, site visits, and surveys.
• Carrying out pipe sizing, heat loss & cooling, and plant sizing calculations.
• Producing working drawings and schematics.
• Liaising with specialist subcontractors to ensure integration of their design.
• Reporting to and continuous liaison with the Design Manager.
• Ensuring all deadlines are met to the highest standard.

The Person:

• A minimum of 2–3 years consultancy or contractor mechanical design experience within the Building Services industry, or we would consider a more junior person to work alongside the senior mechanical design engineer.
• Experience using Hevacomp and/or Trimble.
• Applicants must hold a driving licence.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary from 35,000 to 55,000 depending on experience (open to either a junior or senior engineer).
• Car or car allowance.
• Up to 25 days annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays.
• Company pension 3%/5%.
