A leading automotive technology firm in Telford is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and implement advanced robotic systems for automation. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and expertise in automation technologies, as well as experience in Body in White (BiW) designs. The ideal candidate will contribute to design projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
The Mechanical Design Engineer position will play a key role within MAA developing, designing, and implementing advanced robotic systems for automation. This position involves supporting the full design process, from conceptualisation to prototyping, testing, and final integration, while ensuring the systems meet performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness standards.
The role requires strong problem-solving skills, up-to-date knowledge of automation technologies, and a strategic mindset to anticipate industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of robotic systems. As a Design Engineer, you must also stay abreast of emerging innovations machine vision, and autonomous systems to drive next-generation automation solutions.
