Job description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a key role to provide and implement your expertise on various projects, working on new orders and projects from cradle to grave.

The Mechanical Design Engineer’s key responsibility will be to:

• Produce both bespoke and standard 3D models using Autodesk Inventor CAD package.
• Prepare 2D drawings for manufacture.
• Produce BOMs and parts lists.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and other internal departments.
• Implement and use sound engineering principles.
• Be a key part of improvements and changes within the design function.
• Apply learned knowledge and experience to help drive the success of the business.

The Candidate:

To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need:

• CAD experience in 2D and 3D.
• A mechanical engineering qualification.
• Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
