Are you a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to make a real impact in a high-tech, innovative defense environment? We have partnered with a client who are moving to a brand new, multi-million-pound purpose-built facility due to rapid growth and they're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them!

The Mechanical Design Engineer will:

• Use their knowledge of plastic injection moulding and sheet metal to modify existing products and deal with change requests
• Deliver innovative, cost effective solutions using industry best practices
• Manage engineering design changes
• Support the design of jigs, fixtures and tooling

Key skills required - Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrable experience of working with plastic injection moulded designs
• Proficient with 3D CAD (CREO )
• Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas
