The Mechanical Design Engineer role will include:

• Reviewing and improving existing designs for better performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Leading continuous improvement projects to eliminate inefficiencies in design and manufacturing processes.
• Prototyping and testing to validate design changes and ensure optimal performance.
• Identifying cost-effective materials and solutions to reduce production expenses while maintaining quality.
• Documenting improvements, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management.
• Supporting sales and creating hydraulic systems as required.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have:

• Experience in mechanical design or similar.
• Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD (SolidWorks, ProE, or similar).
• Solid understanding of engineering principles including thermodynamics, mechanical design, and materials science.
• Experience with manufacturing processes like CNC machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead improvement initiatives.
