Location: Newcastle (with potential national and international travel)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering high-quality design solutions within the Offshore Industries. This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects across all phases of the engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical solutions for complex engineering challenges, including concept and detailed design, calculations, analysis, and preparation of technical documentation.
• Own and deliver assigned work scopes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required specification and quality standards.
• Collaborate with and take guidance from senior engineers and project leads.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (BEng/MEng minimum).
• Proven experience in engineering design and development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
