Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well–established engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis, from our client's office in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare projects, with a motivating team.

–Competitive salary ranging from 40,000 to 60,000 (depending on experience).

–Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

–Developing detailed mechanical design drawings.

–Supporting concept generation and mechanical feasibility studies.

–Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.

–Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.

–Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

–Engaging in design reviews and problem–solving discussions with a cross–functional team.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

–A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

–Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.

–Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

–Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

–A proactive, can–do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation.

Desirable:

–Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar) preferred.
