Mechanical Design Engineer (26199) Manchester, England

Blueprint Recruitment are looking for driven and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer’s to join a leading architecture and engineering firm, on a long-term, outside IR35 contract basis in Manchester.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work on a mixture of exciting Leisure, Education and Sports projects and will be expected to travel to the office on a weekly hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design mechanical systems for buildings (HVAC, water, ventilation).

-Create detailed designs and drawings using software like AutoCAD and Revit.

-Work closely with other teams to make sure designs are integrated across projects.

-Visit sites and meet with clients to ensure designs are being implemented correctly.

-Ensure designs meet all relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.

-Extensive experience in mechanical design.

-Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

-Familiar with UK building regulations and industry standards.

-Strong communication and teamwork skills.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
