Job description
FCE has an immediate requirement for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and progress a wide variety of engineering projects through quote, design, fabrication, and installation, utilizing Inventor 3D CAD (or similar software) and managing subcontractors. Experience with hydraulic equipment and automation design is a benefit. An innovative mindset is essential.
Responsibilities
- Designing mechanical machinery to meet internal and external client requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and PUWER.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (lesser qualifications may be offset by experience).
- At least 4 years of industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and computer-aided design software.
