Job summary

Hays is representing a Yorkshire-based building services consultancy seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team in Leeds. You will deliver projects from feasibility to detailed design within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities include producing mechanical designs, surveys, calculations, and coordinating with other disciplines, with opportunities for mentoring junior engineers and ensuring regulatory compliance. A strong development culture is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in mechanical building services design.
• Proficiency with industry–standard design software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Chartership would be advantageous.

Your new role
