Electrogenic is a world-leading EV powertrain OEM, renowned for our technology and our elegant re-powering of classic cars. We develop cutting-edge EV technology for our global partner-installers, for vehicle manufacturers, and the defence sector. In the UK, we also offer bespoke conversion services. Your Role:
This role reports to the Principal Design Engineer and is a key part of the design team that designs and integrates our electric vehicle conversions and EV conversion kits. The role has plenty of scope for whole-powertrain design, ensuring that our bolt-in powertrains remain the best-in-class and that their integration within the vehicles is of the highest standard. You will work with our electrical and software engineers, while working as an integral part of our design team. You will ensure our design language is applied throughout all our products, ensuring design for production and value engineering. You will ensure that the finished product drives beautifully and is aesthetically pleasing.

The successful candidate will have:
Re-engineering a vehicle to drive better than it ever did requires a range of skills and familiarity with automotive systems, including suspension, braking, transmission, as well as other systems such as air conditioning. Ultimately, our watch-word is that we do not permanently alter the vehicles in any way – all our systems respect the original vision of the vehicle in question and do not require any drilling, cutting or welding of the host.
