Mechanical Design Engineer. LE10, Hinckley

• Mechanical Design Engineer, Project Design Engineer, CAD Design Engineer, Design Engineer jobs, hybrid / work from home flexibility.


• Basic salary TBC (We suspect roughly £35,000 sort of region) + wider company benefits and a 12:30 finish on a Friday.

• You will be designing a range of different systems – bespoke, custom solutions so no project is the same! Complex Mechanical systems, you will ideally need a background in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering.

Are you a Design Engineer, Project Design, CAD Design professional with a manufacturing / mechanical engineering background based in Leicestershire? This role will be highly suited to someone with a Mechanical Engineering degree and couple of years experience working in industry.

This Mechanical Design Engineer job will suit:

• Design Engineer, Project Design Engineer, CAD Design Engineer or similar.


• Working on a wide variety of bespoke projects, preparing 3D & 2D drawings to customer specifications.


• You will need good communication skills, to work alongside colleagues as well as deal with suppliers & customers.


• Any knowledge of CAD packages – Creo / SolidWorks or similar.


• Someone with manufacturing exposure, you may be an apprentice trained engineer, worked in a production or manufacturing role and now moved into a design focussed position.


• Eagerness to progress – the business is keen to bring someone in who they can put through a development plan, you will be given excellent training.


• Any qualifications ideal – BEng / HNC / HND or equivalent in an Engineering related subject,
