Permanent Circa to 52,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role

Join a leading manufacturer of bespoke machinery as a Mechanical Design Engineer. You'll design and develop special purpose equipment and conveyor systems using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, supporting projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and modify machinery and components.
• Produce manufacturing and assembly drawings to ISO standards.
• Specify proprietary parts and manage BOMs (SAP experience a plus).
• Ensure compliance with HSE machinery safety standards.
• Support production and testing phases.
• Prepare layouts, manuals, and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical design for special purpose machinery.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, and MS Office.
• Skilled in detailing machined, fabricated, and sheet metal parts.
• Knowledge of machinery safety and risk assessments.
