Job summary

Elastic Ltd in London is seeking experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to take ownership of projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial and public sector schemes, delivering low-carbon building services.

You will lead mechanical design, producing calculations and drawings, act as client-facing engineer, mentor juniors, and work from inception to completion, with agile working and strong portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building services mechanical design experience.
• Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience across multiple project/design stages.
• Revit and relevant building services software experience.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and UK/European standards.
• BREEAM, HTM and renewable technology knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical design on selected projects.

• Working across projects from inception through to completion.

I’m looking to speak with experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers interested in joining a growing Building Services & Low Carbon Engineering Consultancy.

This position offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of projects while working across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, pharmaceutical, public sector and low-carbon/net-zero schemes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading mechanical design on selected projects
• Producing calculations, specifications and drawings
• Acting as a client-facing engineer throughout project delivery
• Working across projects from inception through to completion
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers
• Designing sustainable and low-carbon building services solutions

Ideally you'll have:
