Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: 95 Morrison St, Kinning Park, Glasgow G5 8BE

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am till 4pm, Friday 8am till 1pm

ZLX are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team. If you have hands-on experience with SolidWorks and a passion for designing cutting-edge systems, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview

In this exciting role, you will design special movable walls that include internal fittings such as power supplies, IT infrastructure, speakers, media equipment, and lighting systems. This is an opportunity to work on unique and complex designs, contributing to projects that shape the future of our industry.

What We’re Looking For

1. SolidWorks proficiency: Expertise in mechanical design using SolidWorks
2. Design experience: Experience in designing integrated systems (preferred but not essential)
3. Creativity and problem-solving: Ability to design movable, functional systems with attention to detail
4. Project ownership: Engineers with experience managing their own projects are highly desirable
5. Recent graduates: We also welcome engineers straight from University who have completed independent projects and are eager to grow within a dynamic team.
