Mechanical Design Engineer (Agricultural)

Eye, Suffolk

A GBP 40,000 to A GBP 45,000 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a market leader in specialist agricultural equipment known for exceptional product quality.

The Mechanical Design Engineer role is suited to candidates with backgrounds in sheet metal, stainless steel, and/or agricultural product design. Strong experience with 2D and 3D design packages, ideally AutoCAD LT and SolidWorks, is essential.

The role involves producing detailed working and assembly drawings, undertaking concept and modification design work using stainless steel materials, and liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure drawings meet technical specifications.

The company offers comprehensive internal training, and the successful candidate will work within a proactive team managing the preparation of drawings, parts lists, contract documentation, and other related documents for various products.

Key Responsibilities:
