Due to continued business growth and several exciting new projects, our client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D team on a part–time basis, with flexibility around school hours for the right candidate. In this role, you will support the mechanical design of new and existing products throughout the full product lifecycle. You will create and update 3D models, assemblies and detailed production drawings, while ensuring designs are optimised for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA). The position involves close collaboration with machining, sheet metal, casting, rubber moulding, welding and assembly teams.
Due to the nature of the work, applicants must hold British citizenship or a British dual nationality passport as a minimum.
