An engineering start-up company in Cirencester is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to help develop prototypes for an exciting range of telecom, security, and AI/robotics products. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD, experienced in prototyping and 3D printing, and possess problem-solving skills. Experience with workshop setup and FEA/simulation testing is a plus. This role offers a salary of up to £50,000.
I'm recruiting on behalf of an engineering start–up company in Cirencester who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to help develop prototypes for their new range of products.
The company operate in the telecoms, security and AI/robitics space and have some really exciting project wins already.
They're looking with someone who's fully proficient and capable with CAD (any package considered) along with prototyping and 3D printing etc. Any experience with setting up a workshop (whether thats professionally or for personal use) is of interest.
Eventually, the products will require FEAs, simulation and thermal/cold testing. Although not essential, any exposure to these aspects would be great.
