For the last ten years, this company has been developing groundbreaking aircraft designed to deliver fast, efficient, and sustainable air mobility. Their focus on creating zero-emission aircraft and their investment into advanced technology has resulted in partnerships with major airlines and Aerospace tier 1 suppliers.

They are now looking for a talented Advanced Mechanical Engineer to take the lead on the design of equipment fittings and fixtures onboard the aircraft. This is a design-centric role focused on clean-sheet projects, offering the opportunity to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure all systems are engineered to meet stringent airworthiness standards.

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:

  2. Collaborate with teams to ensure solutions satisfy multiple stakeholder requirements.
  3. Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering knowledge-sharing practices.
The experience we are looking for:
  1. Proven experience in the design and integration of aircraft fixtures and fittings.
  2. Strong background in Mechanical Design or Stress Engineering - bonus if you bring both!
  3. Proficiency with CAD tools; experience with CATIA is highly desirable, though not essential.
  4. Ideally, you've worked in the aerospace industry and have a solid understanding of relevant industry standards.

If you think that this might be the right opportunity for you, I'd love to share more details with you. Please apply below and I will be in touch.
