An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join a global engineering company during an exciting expansion phase. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will play a key role in designing and developing products that meet customer needs, with a focus on continuous improvement.

The Role

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative, manufacturable product designs.
• Use CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Evaluate and optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and efficiency while maintaining product integrity.
• Work with Senior Design Engineers to select appropriate materials, considering costs and performance.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards.
• Create comprehensive design documentation, including BOMs, reports, and other relevant files.

The Person

• Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
