A global engineering organisation with a strong heritage in innovation and manufacturing excellence is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its expanding team. With a focus on delivering high-quality, bespoke equipment to international clients, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and dynamic environment.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering detailed design solutions across a range of specialist products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet customer requirements, legislative standards, and internal quality benchmarks. Key responsibilities include full ownership and delivery of engineering projects, translating system and functional requirements into detailed design solutions, creating 3D CAD models, drawings, and accurate BOMs. Supporting prototype builds and testing activities and investigating failures and implementing corrective actions. Identifying and delivering cost-reduction opportunities. Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and Health & Safety standards.

Mon - Fri, half day Fri.
Flexi start times.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a passion for hands-on engineering and innovation. You should also demonstrate proficiency in 3D CAD systems, a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, strong communication and collaboration skills. A proactive, self-starting attitude and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
