Hawk 3 Talent Solutions in Dudley is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to transform initial specifications into production-ready drawings and programs for metal products. You will work with mild steel, stainless steel, and copper bar processes to ensure high-quality manufacturing.

The role requires CAD/CAM proficiency (AutoCAD 2D, Radan 2D) and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork to support production and continuous improvement. Experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• HND or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good customer relationship skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Autodesk AutoCAD (2D).
• Radan (2D).
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and internal teams to clarify engineering requirements.
• Generate and quality-check design information, production methods, and punch press programs.
• Operate and maintain CAD/CAM systems (AutoCAD 2D, Radan 2D).
• Support production teams with processes, training, and quality checks.
• Identify and resolve design/specification issues promptly.
• Recommend cost-control measures and value engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and best practices.

About the Role
