Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking Mechanical Design Engineers for three positions, offering a salary of £25,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, plus a 5% bonus, overtime, and other benefits. Location: Omagh - Ballygawley / Monaghan / Enniskillen / Tyrone / Armagh area. This is a full-time, permanent role (Ref: HN6807).

Our client is an expanding heavy metal engineering company within a larger group, with plans for a new manufacturing site and extensive growth over the next three years. Join an established design team at an exciting time, working on project-oriented mechanical design from concept through to manufacturing. The role involves frequent use of SolidWorks, creating Bills of Materials, and designing for efficiency and minimal wastage.

Essential criteria:

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in Mechanical Design Engineering on similar products
• Competency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Pro Engineer / Creo, SolidEdge, or Inventor
• A relevant engineering qualification is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
