Creating and modifying 3D CAD models, 2D manufacturing drawings, bills of materials (BOMs) and supporting documentation.
Supporting design-for-manufacture activities, ensuring designs are practical, efficient and suitable for production.
Developing tooling, jigs, fixtures and manufacturing aids to support assembly and repeatable production.
Supporting customer enquiries and quotations through technical reviews, manufacturing assessments and risk identification.
Working closely with Production to resolve drawing queries, manufacturing challenges and assembly issues.
Collaborating with Quality and Inspection teams to support inspection requirements, investigations and corrective actions.
Maintaining accurate engineering records and documentation within relevant MRP/ERP systems.
Contributing to design improvements, engineering standards and process development.
Working collaboratively with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
