Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for the next step in your career?

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global building services consultancy in a long term, outside IR35 contract position.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on several large-scale warehouse projects, with a motivating and experienced team and requires 1x a week travel to either the London or Oxfordshire office.

-Competitive hourly rate range from £42-50 (depending on experience).

-Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Supporting concept generation and mechanical feasibility studies.

-Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.

-Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.

-Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

-Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team.

What we are looking for:

--A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

-Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.

-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation.

-Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar) preferred.
