Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is working with an established Oxfordshire engineering business in Chinnor to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer. This hands-on role covers from concept design through to production, within a highly regulated, global manufacturing environment.

You will lead 3D CAD design, produce detailed drawings and BOMs, support CNC processes, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and customers to drive robust product development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical/Design Engineer.
• 1
• Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CATIA or similar).
• Experience with manufacturing/CNC processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings & BOMs.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ideally from aerospace, advanced manufacturing, composites or another regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• 3D CAD design and development.
• Produce detailed drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Design for manufacture and assembly.
• Engineering change and configuration control.
• Support CNC/manufacturing data, prototype testing and validation.
• Support NPI and design reviews.
• DFMEA and design risk management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and customers.
