Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Cheltenham

Duration: 12 months

Rate: up to £60/hour (Umbrella only)

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Leadership qualities to co-ordinate and plan work packages and track progress to completion.
• Oversight of deliverables from team ensuring robust burn down of technical debt.
• Reviewing tolerance analysis, GD&T strategies and tolerance schemes.
• Ensuring document updates are carried out in line with company policies.
• Ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  
  

Key Activities

• Some level of team leadership and co-ordination
• Mechanical Design including CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, change management, document updates, burn down of technical debt. Issue resolution
  
  

Desired Skills

• Mechanical Design, CAD - Siemens NX. Drafting, Tolerance Analysis, GD&T, Sheet Metal fabrication and Electro-Mechanical
