Based in South Wales, this company is among the fastest growing manufacturers in the UK and has been successful since its inception. Having won multiple awards and achieved international recognition for their unique and innovative products, they are experiencing an exciting period of growth. Working as part of a growing in-house design team, you will be involved in machinery design for their South Wales factory and future projects to establish new manufacturing facilities overseas.
In this role, you will work within a close-knit design team responsible for the design and optimisation of manufacturing lines. Your responsibilities include full lifecycle design: specification, concept generation, detail development, procurement, build, installation, and commissioning support. You will focus on maximising reliability and quality while ensuring compliance with machinery safety regulations. Proficiency in SolidWorks is preferred; experience with similar CAD software is also acceptable. There will be opportunities to learn from other engineers and develop your professional skills to advance your career.
