Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design parts and assemblies in 3D CAD and produce detailed GD&T drawings. The role involves design calculations, tolerance analysis, and close collaboration with production to optimize manufacturability.

You will support prototyping, testing and design changes while keeping BOMs and records up to date.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 2+ years in a mechanical design role.
• Strong 3D CAD skills and solid knowledge of GD&T.
• Understanding of materials and manufacturing methods (machining, sheet metal, fabrication, moulding).
• Clear communication and good attention to detail.
