A leading Net Zero energy consultancy is seeking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing team.

Duties will include:

• Design, specifications, and construction stage project management of mechanical projects (all aspects of Mechanical Services), covering all RIBA stages.
• Run and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure all projects meet British Standards, CIBSE Guides to Good Practice, and other relevant legislation.
• Conduct Mechanical Services Feasibility Studies and Energy Efficiency Reports.
• Attend project meetings and regular Design Department meetings for workload planning.
• Develop good relationships with team members.

You will have knowledge of:

• Industry regulations, mechanical design, and installations.
• Utility services, including new connections and disconnections.
• Project management and leading building service projects.
• ONC/HNC in building services engineering or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Electrical services understanding.

Your experience will cover:

• Experience in mechanical engineering, engineering consultancy, or mechanical installations.
• Proficiency with design calculation software such as AutoCAD & IES.
• Experience with renewable technology and systems.
• Experience with design calculation software like Design Builder, Cymap, BIM projects, and Revit.
