Job description

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for cutting-edge water and wastewater treatment solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.

Your primary duties will involve creating detailed mechanical designs, conducting analyses and simulations, and ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and specifications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and software engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into our projects.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will also be responsible for producing technical documentation, conducting feasibility studies, and attending project meetings to discuss progress and provide technical insights. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and performance of our water treatment systems, making a difference in communities and ecosystems.

Qualifications:

  • Technical qualification in mechanical or chemical engineering
  • Experience in industrial water treatment industry
  • Ion exchange and reverse osmosis
  • Experience with key process equipment, pumps, vessels, tanks etc
  • Experience with MS office applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Industrial project experience within a team
  • Experience with Autocad/ Plant 3D
  • Experience with specification and technical alignment of process equipment
  • Water treatment technology and process knowledge
