Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas sector for a hybrid role based in Aberdeen. The successful applicant will need to design mechanical systems and produce essential project documentation, alongside familiarity with hazardous areas. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate and a 6-month contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the Oil and Gas industry as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience in design using Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of hazardous areas standards such as ATEX, NORSOK.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components.
• Produce project documentation including hydraulics schematics and design calculations.
• Work with Hydraulic/Pneumatic system designs.

Mechanical Engineer
£45 per hour - outside IR35
Aberdeen - Hybrid - 1 day per week in office
6 month initial contract
