Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking Mechanical Design Engineers for multiple positions in the Omagh, Ballygawley, Monaghan, Enniskillen, Tyrone, and Armagh areas. These are full-time, permanent roles with a salary ranging from £25,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, plus a 5% bonus, overtime, and other benefits.

Company Overview

Our client is an expanding heavy metal engineering company, part of a larger group, with plans for a new manufacturing site. They have experienced significant growth and are looking for talented engineers to join their team at an exciting time of development.

Role Responsibilities

1. Work on project mechanical design from concept through development and manufacturing.
2. Use SolidWorks and other CAD software to create detailed designs, Bill of Materials, and optimize for efficiency and minimal wastage.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering with similar products.
• Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Pro Engineer / Creo, SolidEdge, or Inventor.
• Relevant engineering qualification is preferred; however, related design experience will be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
