Job description

My client is looking for a Level 3 qualified Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to join an existing maintenance team at a prominent high-rise in Bankside, Central London.

Salary: Up to £47,000

Shift: 07:00-16:00 and 10:00-19:00

Days: Monday to Friday

Additional benefits: 26 days holiday, OT opportunities, 3% pension, uniform, 3 Mechanical equivalent, 3-5 years FM experience, call-out required 1 in 4.

Duties include:
  1. PPMs: weekly fire alarm tests, flushing, smoke vent tests, disabled/refugee/lift alarm checks, AHU, BMS checks, plant tours, lighting checks, tap temperature checks, emergency light tests.
  2. TMV checks and servicing, expansion vessels, water heater/calorifier checks and servicing, AHU filter changes, fan coil/VRV filter cleaning and temperature checks, condense pump checks, dry riser checks.
  3. Reactive tasks: fault finding, replacing lamps, ballasts, drivers, light fittings, switches, PIR sensors, unblocking toilets, urinals, drains, descaling, disinfecting taps and showers, installing and fixing electric showers, water heaters, taps, radiators, pipes, valves, and TMVs.
  4. Ordering and organizing parts and materials across multiple sites.
  5. Planning and organizing out-of-hours work, building access, escorting and assisting other trades, liaising with supervisors, managers, and the office.
