Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within NTW Solutions Ltd, in the role of a Mechanical Craftsperson to join our Estates Team at Ferndene Hospital. The suitably qualified and experienced candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based within the Estates Department.

This vacancy includes potential additional earnings from on-call and overtime, as well as an attractive £2.5K welcome bonus—a rewarding welcome for a rewarding career.

Main duties of the job

To undertake, without routine supervision, planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and new installation work within healthcare premises on a variety of building services related systems, including:

• Energy generating plant including boiler plant.
• DHWS & CWS systems.
• Air compressors.
• Laundry and catering equipment.
• Drainage/sewerage.
• Ventilation plant.
• Air conditioning and refrigeration.
• BMS control systems.
• Electrical building services.
• Fault finding and repair of plant and equipment.
• Undertake condition surveys of mechanical systems and infrastructure within healthcare facilities.
