Mechanical Contracts Manager

Are you looking for a mechanical management role in construction, working for a company involved in the north west's most iconic projects?

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join a market leading principal MEP contractor company working on local projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee management and site operations across 5-6 projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with electrical operations managers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Deliver MEP installation services to new build sites worth £1m - £20m
  • Work with wider commercial teams to maximize profitability
  • Ensure contracts are completed within timescales and budget
  • Maintain safety standards and implement practical safety measures
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including variations
  • Manage team competence and performance
  • Develop relationships with clients for repeat business
  • Maintain quality and time standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a contracting environment, with at least 5 years in management
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems in high-rise sectors
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing management teams
  • SMSTS and First Aid certifications are advantageous
