Mechanical Contracts Manager Decarbonisation & Renewable Energy Projects
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing mechanical contractor that has recently secured multiple public sector decarbonisation and renewable energy contracts. As a result, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their team on a long-term basis.
These projects will span a range of building types with individual values ranging from GBP200k to GBP2 million, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to work on meaningful, sustainability-focused schemes.
The Role:
- Oversee the delivery of multiple mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Manage labour, materials, and subcontractors across several live sites.
- Ensure all works are delivered to programme, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support with planning, procurement, and commercial elements of each job.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing mechanical building services projects, ideally including decarbonisation, ASHPs, and energy efficiency schemes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to run multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent understanding of compliance, health & safety, and quality assurance.
- Confident communicator who can build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
What’s on Offer:
GBP350 - GBP400 per day (CIS or Limited Company)
Option to go permanent after 6 months, or remain long-term contract
