Job Description:

Mechanical Contracts Manager, required for our client, a plumbing and heating specialist, based in Gloucestershire. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will oversee small projects and ongoing servicing and reactive works across the area. The project values range from £10,000 to £200,000.

The candidate MUST have experience in a mechanical contracts manager role, preferably with a technical background in HVAC, specifically commercial heating.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Overview

• Preparing cost estimates for new mechanical/HVAC works and reactive tasks
• Managing amendments or variations to existing projects
• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications for material take-offs
• Maintaining regular contact with clients
• Managing labour, including direct staff and subcontractors
• Working from the Gloucester office and visiting sites as needed

Position Requirements

• Technical background in HVAC industry
• Experience in a similar managerial role
• Located within commuting distance to Gloucester

Remuneration and Benefits

• Salary between £42,000 and £50,000, depending on experience
