Required: Mechanical Contracts Manager
Location: Cirencester, Gloucester
Job Type: Permanent - Full time
Salary (up to): £65k per annum - depending on experience (negotiable)
Other benefits: Car allowance + 25 days holiday

Job Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of commercial, industrial, and public sector projects. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering commercial projects valued at £1.5 million or more, with a background in mechanical engineering installations. They should have a proven track record in commercial, industrial, and public sector buildings, and possess strong technical knowledge alongside solid commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of plant, materials, and subcontractors
• Monitor budgets, forecast spend, and control labour resources
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality and programme compliance
• Oversee health & safety, RAMS, and progress reporting
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Prepare monthly valuations, variations, and O&M manuals
• Support tender submissions and manage multiple projects

Key Skills:

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Proven experience in mechanical services project management
• Commercially astute with a good grasp of HVAC and building services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience beneficial
