Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor – Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm +
Salary: Competitive + Flexible Benefits

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor to join the team at a prestigious site. The successful candidate will ensure that reactive maintenance and remedial works are effectively planned and executed across mechanical services, HVAC systems, and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for mechanical/HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and optimize BMS and control systems for mechanical plant and equipment.
• Supervise and manage the engineering team, including performance reviews, safety briefings, absence reporting, and training.
• Oversee high-standard repairs to HVAC plant and associated systems.
• Manage installation and repairs of pipework systems efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct pump repairs, including mechanical seal replacements and fault resolution.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members.
• Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests related to heating, ventilation, pumps, valves, and pipework.
• Collaborate with other trades as needed.
• Utilize CAFM systems, Smartsheets, and subcontractor portals to track work output.
• Engage with the supply chain to ensure effective planning and execution of quoted/project works.
• Support operational delivery on event days.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and general building services
• Familiarity with electrical principles, safe isolation, and fault finding
• Experience with Trend BMS systems

Desirable

• City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations
• Authorised Person – Mechanical
