Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor – Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm +

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor to join the team at a prestigious site. The successful candidate will ensure that reactive maintenance and remedial works are effectively planned and executed across mechanical services, HVAC systems, and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for mechanical/HVAC systems.
- Diagnose faults and optimize BMS and control systems for mechanical plant and equipment.
- Supervise and manage the engineering team, including performance reviews, safety briefings, absence reporting, and training.
- Oversee high-standard repairs to HVAC plant and associated systems.
- Manage installation and repairs of pipework systems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct pump repairs, including mechanical seal replacements and fault resolution.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members.
- Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests related to heating, ventilation, pumps, valves, and pipework.
- Collaborate with other trades as needed.
- Utilize CAFM systems, Smartsheets, and subcontractor portals to track work output.
- Engage with the supply chain to ensure effective planning and execution of quoted/project works.
- Support operational delivery on event days.
Candidate Profile
We’re seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in building services and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and general building services
- Familiarity with electrical principles, safe isolation, and fault finding
- Experience with Trend BMS systems

- City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations
- Authorised Person – Mechanical
