About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for an exciting commercial fit-out scheme based in Bank, Central London. The successful candidate will be working on behalf of one of the UK’s leading M&E contractors, renowned for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the mechanical installation and delivery of the commercial fit-out scheme from shell & core through to commissioning and handover.
Coordinate mechanical works and ensure they are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
Work collaboratively with the Electrical Construction Team and report directly to the Mechanical Project Manager.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company standards.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including progress tracking and quality control.
Attend and lead coordination and progress meetings with the main contractor and wider project team.
Assist with procurement of mechanical materials and equipment.
Ensure installation aligns with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
Contribute to commissioning planning and assist in final project delivery stages.
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing mechanical packages on commercial fit-out or MEP projects in central London.
Background working for or alongside leading M&E contractors.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems: HVAC, public health, plant room fit-out, etc.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
A proactive, driven and detail-oriented approach to construction delivery.
